Day Seven

Lots of driving for Max's family today. Not as much as yesterday...but it seemed almost as long. Last day of our vacation.  :(  But it was a blast.  We will be doing this again next year...so Max, be fore-warned!  Rosie will be much older by then.  Maybe she will stop with those terrible lies!!!

Day Six

Day Six started as a normal Seattle day...gray and chilly...just on our way out of town!  We never did see Big Foot...but we did get to see a lot of Seattle and will some day come back.  You will have to watch "Finding Big Foot" on animal planet to see if Big Foot ever gets found!

Max, we covered a lot of ground today.  We drove through Washington, Idaho and most of Montana---which is quite a feat!  We stayed in the nicest Super 8 in Columbus, MT.  Highly recommended!

Day Five

Max's family rookie easy without him today and they went to the Beach!!! --- without Max!! There were sooo many dogs there that they really didn't need Max... Lots of sea glass to be found with numerous dead crabs and other dead things washed up on the beach. Max's family also ate fish and chips at the famous Spuds Fish and Chips!  It was delicious according Lynne and Jerry.  Alex had chicken for lunch.  :)
Max's family enjoyed THREE BEAUTIFUL DAYS in Seattle---in a row...something that Seattle does't see a lot of....They also went to REI to climb the climbing wall.....but the wall was closed!  :(

Day Four

This little piggy goes to market.
Hannah having fun at Pike's Place.
Our Tour Guide for the Underground Tour.
 Skylights for the underground.
 Pioneer Square Gate.
 The Underground.
A Leaf at Pioneer Square.

Well--First official day to sleep in for Max's family... And the official day to visit Pike's Place Market. It was ALL GOOD--according to Max's family..great food at The Pike and lots of wonderful things to see! Pioneer Square was on the agenda for the afternoon.. They took the Underground Tour! Highly recommend it to everyone! Lynne has seen The Underground Tour THREE times! "It just keeps getting better!" says Lynne of the Underground Tour. In the photo's you will see our tour guide for the underground, some images of Jerry and the kids and some interesting image from The Underground and Pioneer Square.

Day Three

Jerry and the kids at the Space Needle Observation Deck!

Who could this be?

Gary, Dan and Tim
Fireworks...eight pallets!
Fireworks display at Bud's Cabin on Lake Pattison.

On the Fourth of July, Max's family dove into Seattle--over the beautiful Cascade Mountains. It was amazing to hear that they are still skiing in The Cascades--in July! Once in Seattle, Max's family went to the Seattle Aquarium and then to the Space Needle. Lynne actually made it all of the way to the top, too! The best part of the trip might have been the free parking on the 4th AND finding those EXCELLENT parking spots!!! Next, they drove down to Lacey to visit Lynne's cousins--Gary, Tim and Tute. They also put on quite a fireworks display with the help of a pyro- technic friend...Best fireworks EVER!

Day Two

On day two of Max's family vacation, they drove to a little mining town in Washington State called Cle Elum. It was Pioneer Days in Cle Elum. The family ate at Sahara's Pizza... Another Yum!! After pizza, they drove to a town just down the road, called Roslyn. You might remember a little show called Northern Exposure. Well, Roslyn is were they filmed Northern Exposure!! Take a look at some of the photo's. That's pretty neat! The Best Western in Cle Elum was, by far, the best hotel they stayed in while on their vacation without max.

Day One

Max's family stopped in Butte, Montana the first night of their vacation without him. They saw a couple of other dogs on vacation with their families. Max's family did see the Berkely Pit and ate at the famous Joe's Pasty Shop. Yum!
